Climate justice is crucial to the work I want to do. There needs to be equitable distribution of the burden of climate change so that lower-income countries will be less impacted by natural disasters as they are more vulnerable to the effects of climate change. As I specialized in humanitarian policy for my education, I am passionate about mitigating climate change effects so that vulnerable populations can be protected and prepared for these challenges.

I have the advice for other young people to step out of their comfort zone and take chances. The times I felt uncomfortable or nervous about an opportunity were the times that I was able to grow and gain the most experience. In return, these experiences are what distinguished me from others in applications and endeavors I wished to pursue. 

In addition, for young people who are looking to be involved in global or international work, it is important for them to travel and gain experience abroad to make connections and figure out what type of work that they would like to do. I have made friends who had studied internationally and were then able to make connections for jobs in international development.
